Davis & Elkins College opened the doors of its state-of-the-art residence hall to students of the Class of 2028 on Saturday morning. The building features one hundred beds for residents, as well as study and common areas. Students moving to Glory Residence Hall from other residential housing on campus were assisted by members and coaches of the College’s athletics teams.
Related weekend events began on Friday when all students, faculty, and staff at D&E were encouraged to tour Glory Residence Hall ahead of move-in. Alongside Saturday’s student relocation to Glory, events included a reception in the lower-level common area, music, and outdoor games hosted by the College’s Student Government Association and Student Life Department. On Sunday, D&E’s first residents of the new Hall were encouraged to gather for a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
