Get involved with D&E
All alumni are automatically members of the Davis & Elkins College Alumni Association. These some of the ways to stay connected with your friends, classmates, teammates and faculty.
Be an advocate.
The continued strength of Davis & Elkins College depends on enrollment. You can help us recruit students by participating in college fairs in your area and/or recruiting events on campus. We also invite you to nominate students you feel would thrive in the transformative educational experience that D&E is known for. Please contact Chanda Collette firstname.lastname@example.org, 304-637-1230
Support your College.
Gifts of any amount have a big impact on your alma mater. Alumni gifts support scholarships, building renovations and construction, athletic teams, equipment, library resources, and the list goes on. Alumni gifts also help boost national rankings and contribute toward grant applications. No matter what the amount, your gift has an impact! Every alumna/us of D&E received support from alumni gifts during their time on campus. Make a gift in any amount every year to pay it forward and show your love and appreciation for D&E.
Host or Attend a Regional Event.
Please refer to the Regional Chapter list for established groups. We always welcome suggestions for other locations so please reach out to Wendy Morgan email@example.com and share your ideas.
Join a Group.
D&E offers a variety of groups and associations to help you stay connected. National Alumni Council is the voice/governing body of the Alumni Association, and our alumni even host their own D&E Nursing Alumni Love and Support Spot on Facebook.
Ways you can stay informed
It’s easy to keep in touch with D&E. Forward, the magazine of Davis & Elkins College is published twice per year and mailed to our alumni and friends. We consistently post current news on all social media sites and D&E Today so check us out regularly for information, updates or just to see what campus looks like! President Wood prepares a weekly column, Reflecting Along the Journey, that is emailed to alumni, friends and parents, posted on social media sites and printed in The Inter-Mountain (the daily newspaper in Elkins). Current and previous issues of Forward and Reflecting Along the Journey are available here.
