Take a Virtual Trip to D&E
When you set foot on our campus, it’s hard not to fall in love with the rich history and the splendor of the surrounding highlands. We’d love for you to come for an open house or personal visit. Until then, we offer two ways to virtually visit our campus.

Academic
Support
From the Gatehouse, Scott takes you to the Morrison Novakovic Center, Martin Fieldhouse & Memorial Gymnasium’s athletic fitness center and Sybolt Indoor Golf Academy, and Albert Hall, where Naylor Learning Center offers academic support to all and the Supported Learning Program for people with disabilities.
Student life
& Exciting
Renovations
Heading up the hill, Scott takes you across the bridge to Booth Library, and on to the Caboose Cafe, a decommissioned train car turned coffee shop. It sits beside Lake Toalsted, where dorm teams have tug of war competitions. Moving on, you get to see the $6.5M renovations underway (as of April 2020) on the Myles Center for the Arts complex.
investment
in
athletics
You see more of the investment D&E has made in its 22 athletic programs in the new gym at the McDonnell Center, a 2,000-seat venue for basketball and volleyball games, acrobatics and tumbling. Scott shows you the athletics fields, challenging cross-country and hiking trails that disappear into the lush, thick woods at the edge of campus.
Rich History,
Arts & Culture
Scott takes you to the residence halls and to Halliehurst, the historic summer home of Senator Elkins that houses the Office of the President and features the Stirrup Gallery. You see the Madden Student Center with the Benedum Dining Room. Then on to the Icehouse.
