As dean of students, Kate oversees all aspects of the Office of Student Life – residence life, health and wellness, judicial affairs and student organizations including Greek Life.

- M.S. Human Services Management in Special Education, McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland.
- B.A. Psychology, Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, West Virginia.
Experience
Kate previously served as assistant dean of students at Davis & Elkins College and as Title IX & Section 504 Coordinator. Prior to her career at D&E, she was the membership services manager for the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs at the organization’s international headquarters in Washington, D.C. She also has worked as a West Virginia Specialized Foster Care program director, caseworker, community living manager and respite care provider.
Activities
Kate has attended and volunteered for the American Legion Auxiliary West Virginia Rhododendron Girls State since 2003 and currently serves as the organization’s assistant director.
