The Davis & Elkins College Theatre and Film Program will present a one-act comedy “The Actor’s Nightmare” at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 in the Creative Commons in Myles Center for the Arts. The presentation is directed by senior Emma Watson of Beverly as her senior thesis.

Written by Christopher Durang, the play centers on George Spelvin who finds himself standing in on opening night in for an actor who has been injured. The problem is, George doesn’t know the play they are performing nor does he remember even attending a single rehearsal.

The production’s cast and crew are Quinn Staunton as George Spelvin; Roger Gabbert III as Henry Irving; Heather Humphrey as Meg; Emma McDougal as Dame Ellen Terry; and Kyia McGill as Sarah Siddons, with stage manager/light operator Dennis “G” Romero, sound operator Jonathan Shields, poster designer Star Eakle and publicity by Maggie Gunning.
