Davis & Elkins College will host a special Senator Leadership event designed to help students learn more about the College with a variety of interactive sessions. Set for Saturday, March 26, the event is open to all students who have been accepted for the fall 2022 semester.

The day begins with check in from 8:30 – 9 a.m. in Senate Commons at Myles Center for the Arts. D&E President Chris A. Wood and Executive Vice President Dr. Rosemary Thomas will welcome students and their guests. Students will have opportunities to meet current students, faculty and staff, and participate in an academic and athletic fair, student panels and sessions for extracurricular activities. In addition, campus tours will be available and carnival snacks and games will round out the event.

“This is going to be an amazing day for our prospective students. They will get a chance to meet with our esteemed faculty, tour our beautiful campus, meet their future classmates, and potentially their roommates,” said D&E Director of Student Recruitment and Success Angie Scott. “They will have the ability to speak with our student ambassadors and get a real feel for a day in the life of a D&E student. Parents will have the opportunity to meet the support staff across campus and realize all the resources and services available to their sons and daughters. D&E has wonderful opportunities for its students. Distinction & Excellence is what you have to look forward to at D&E.”

All students who have been admitted and registered by Thursday, March 24 are eligible to participate. Registration is required and can be made by visiting www.dewv.edu/admissions/open-house-events/ and clicking on the Senator Leadership Event Open House graphic.
