D&E COVID-19 statistics
The cooperative effort to maintain a safe and healthy campus is the top priority at D&E. In an effort to provide a complete picture about the status of COVID-19 on campus, click here for 2021 COVID data and click here for vaccination data.
Mandatory Surveillance TestingCOVID-19 for campus
Each week 10% of the campus community (students, faculty and staff) are required to be tested for COVID-19. This has been mandated by the State of West Virginia and utilizes the VAULT saliva-based PCR test instrument. If you receive the email indicating you have been selected to test, it is imperative that you comply.

Weekdays 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. – Noon
We are off to a good start at Davis & Elkins College, and that is directly attributable to students who did their part in preparing to return to campus during the global pandemic. D&E has students in isolation, either after having tested positive or awaiting COVID-19 test results. As soon as we have information about access to vaccines for students, we will pass it along immediately. In the meantime, students are urged to stay safe, be careful, use good judgment, and follow the safety protocols D&E has established. If we work together, we will continue to have in-person/hybrid course delivery with the goal in mind of progressing toward a more normal collegiate experience for all.
