Improve and certify proficiency in an additional language through a state-of-the-art program.

In an increasingly globalized world, proficiency in more than one language is a valued skill set in many fields. The World Language Pathways to Proficiency (P2P) certification program allows D&E students to develop their skills in a variety of languages in a flexible and supportive environment. Students may become certified in any language that is not their “first language” and that can be tested.

Why World Languages at D&E

Demonstrable proficiency in a language is often required for some graduate studies. D&E’s unique P2P program allows motivated students to enjoy an environment where they can improve their proficiency in a language they may have had experience in or are just starting to learn. Students may also use their certification to apply for the Global Seal of Biliteracy in English and a second language.
