Our Teacher Education Program is fully accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) through 2032.
As part of this accreditation, educator preparation providers are required to publicly report annual data related to candidate quality, program outcomes, and continuous improvement. Accreditation status reflects the College’s commitment to high standards, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement in educator preparation. CAEP Annual Reporting
CAEP annual reporting is a public accountability process that requires educator preparation programs to collect, review, and share data each year. These data help ensure that programs are preparing effective, ethical, and classroom-ready educators.
Annual reporting supports:

Publicly Report Measures
The following categories of data are included in CAEP annual reporting. Data are reviewed annually by education faculty and program leadership. Data collected through CAEP annual reporting are actively used to improve educator preparation at Davis & Elkins College.
