Adherence to these plans is recommended to expedite meeting all D&E graduation requirements. Additional D&E academic programs not meeting the 2+2 threshold are also available to DSLCC students.
Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College (EWVC&TC)
D&E agrees to articulate EWVC&TC associate’s degree programs into the following D&E bachelor’s degrees. Admission is restricted to students who have successfully completed the EWVC&TC associate degree in the respective program:

D&E Outgoing Articulation/Partnership Agreements
In addition to incoming transfer agreements, D&E has established partnerships through which D&E students may transfer to partner graduate or professional programs:
Marshall University School of Pharmacy (MUSOP) — Pre-Pharmacy
D&E and MUSOP have a partnership for students planning to pursue pharmacy. Students who achieve a GPA of 3.2 or higher and have completed all pre-pharmacy prerequisites (BS in Biology track) may apply. MUSOP agrees to give priority admission during each admission cycle to at least one or more qualifying D&E students. This 3+4 arrangement allows students to earn the B.S. in Biology and Pharm.D. in seven years rather than eight. Students must notify the Registrar’s Office immediately after admission to D&E, as requirements are specific and sequential.
Marshall University — Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
D&E has an agreement with Marshall University guaranteeing two D&E graduates who meet specific criteria acceptance into the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Marshall University School of Physical Therapy. Students pursuing pre-physical therapy should complete a four-year degree in Exercise Science and take the GRE.
West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) — Pre-Osteopathic Medicine
D&E and WVSOM have a partnership for students planning to pursue osteopathic medicine. Students who achieve a GPA of 3.4 or higher in science/math coursework and have completed Biology and Chemistry prerequisites may apply during their sophomore year. Those who excel receive an expedited application review and early admission interview, with a decision before their senior year at D&E.
