The Exercise Science program at Davis & Elkins provides a working knowledge of the physiology of exercise, exercise testing, and prescription. You’ll learn from faculty members with extensive knowledge, practical experience, and the dedication necessary to inspire you to achieve your goals.

Baccalaureate Programs (B.S.)
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science
The bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science requires 53 semester hours of specified sports science courses and courses in biology, chemistry, math, nursing, and psychology. Also required is one of the following: completion of an academic minor other than athletic training, completion of a minor in athletic training, or completion of the Pre-Professional Specialization in Pre-Physical Therapy.

The requirements for a minor in Exercise Science consist of 20 semester hours of specified sport science and biology courses, 3 semester hours chosen from among specified sport science, nursing, and psychology courses.
