Combine Art with Technology

This website's design file

Explore the cutting edge of design and media.

The Digital Media program at Davis & Elkins College focuses on graphic design, print design, interactive media, and 2D animation. It provides hands-on courses in visual communication, branding, web design, video and animation production, and 3D design through professional-grade software. This curriculum gives you the skills to apply and create art in the modern world.

The program will allow you to explore different formats of digital art through set courses and electives that you can tailor to your interests. You’ll build a foundation in art through intro to drawing, color, theory, and 2D Design to establish what makes a composition excel in the art and digital worlds. You’ll learn alongside dedicated, mentoring faculty who are working artists and active in the field. Small class sizes provide an inspiring environment that exposes you to new ideas and activities while allowing you to express your own creativity and explore your thoughts and feelings. A bright and spacious studio provides room for learning and developing skills and techniques. The Mac Lab offers professional resources for graphic design and digital photography. These areas are available for students to work in even when classes are not in session.
