Booth Library is the academic and intellectual heart of Davis & Elkins College, serving as a vital resource for students, faculty, and the broader Elkins community. Located at 100 Campus Drive in Elkins, West Virginia, the library offers a welcoming environment for research, study, and discovery — with knowledgeable staff available to assist with everything from navigating the collection to tracking down hard-to-find materials.

Beyond its general collections, Booth Library is home to the Special Collections & Archives (SCA), a curated repository of rare and historically significant materials available through consultation with the Campus Librarian. Researchers with specialized needs are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance to ensure staff availability and the best possible access to these unique resources. The SCA reflects D&E’s commitment to preserving local and institutional history for generations of scholars to come.

Booth Library currently observes Summer 2026 hours, open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Community members from Elkins are welcome to visit, and 24/7 study areas remain accessible to all D&E students and employees with a valid College ID.
