The Senator Honors Community is designed to give academically excellent, intellectually curious students a little more out of their Davis and Elkins experience. Themed around questions of vocation and meaning, the Honors Program is here to help you explore your place at D&E and beyond. You’ll have access to exclusive, engaging interdisciplinary classes, special experiential learning opportunities, and focused, one-on-one research projects with a faculty mentor. You’ll also enjoy priority registration for classes and special recognition upon graduation. Above all, as an Honors student, you get to be part of a unique community of like-minded, passionate students across a variety of majors.

- Maintain a cumulative 3.6 college GPA
- Complete 12 credits of Honors courses
- Complete 2 experiential events per semester – Examples include: Semester study abroad, Volunteer activities, Honor’s leadership, intellectual, or social events.
