Rebekah Teter has been appointed coordinator of campus activities at Davis & Elkins College. In this capacity, she works in the Office of Student Life providing leadership to the student organization Senator Entertainment and developing programming that supports the intellectual, personal and social development of students.

The Office of Student Life has a broad range of responsibilities in providing activities to the campus community including student events, intramural sports, leadership programming, fraternity and sorority life, and events for the local community.

“We are thrilled to have Rebekah as part of the team in the Office of Student Life,” said Dean of Students Kate Garlick. “She brings high energy and excitement to our campus through engaging activities. Her passion and leadership with event planning will truly expand the array of events offered to our students and the local community.”

A native of Romney, West Virginia, Teter graduated from West Liberty University Gary E. West College of Business in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. During her college career, Teter served as a resident assistant and was selected as an Outstanding Tourism and Event Management Student in her junior and senior years.

In addition to her studies, Teter completed internships as a wedding planner with Sarah K. Events and as an events assistant with WesBanco Arena and Capitol Theatre. She also has worked as a floral designer at Romney Florist and Iron Works.

“I am so excited to be a part of the D&E family and get involved on campus and in the community,” Teter said. “I look forward to working with students, staff and the community to plan events everyone will enjoy. Thank you to those who have helped me get settled into this position.”
