Utility Worker – Dining Services
Pay Range: $10.75 – $12.25, depending on experience
Status: Full-Time or Part-Time / Hourly, Non-Exempt
Responsible for thoroughly cleaning all dishes, silverware, and other items under strict sanitary conditions.
Responsibilities

- Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures.
- Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management.
- Keep dish room clean at all times.
- Keep sufficient supply of China, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses in appropriate locations during service periods. Restock fully between meal periods.
- Clean dish machine after each meal.
- Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each shift, and empty mop bucket.
- De-lime the dish machine once a week.
- Soak and scrub-stained cups weekly.
- Exercise extreme caution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
- Follow cleaning schedule and using “clean as you go” techniques.
- Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
- Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
- Assist fellow associates at every opportunity.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by management.

- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
