WV PUBLIC BROADCASTING - British pianist and Gershwin specialist Jack Gibbons is returning to West Virginia.

Gibbons played concerts and taught a class at Davis & Elkins College in May. Gibbons will spend more time in the state as artist-in-residence at Davis & Elkins this year.

Jack Gibbons spoke with WV Public Broadcasting before his May concert. During that interview, he expressed enthusiasm about his visit. "I love working in the states," he said.

"Every year I usually do a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York. And, I just also love meeting the students. I’m really looking forward to meeting the students and sharing my love of music with them."
