Elkins – Davis & Elkins College alumna Jessica Kerns has been appointed as an enrollment adviser at her alma mater. As a member of the admission team, she will assist prospective students and their families learn more about the College’s private, liberal arts education.
Kerns will serve families in West Virginia and Ohio.
A native of Waverly, West Virginia, Kerns earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and human services from D&E in 2018. Forming leadership skills as a student, she was a member of the volleyball team and the women’s lacrosse team, and served as a student assistant volleyball coach in her senior year. Kerns also worked as a student sports information assistant and was a member of the game day communications and media team.
Prior to her appointment at D&E, Kerns worked as a substitute teacher in the Belpre (Ohio) City Schools system and as a private home health care provider. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling at Southern New Hampshire University.
