Join us for the D&E spring theatre production of "Hedda Gabler" by Henrik Ibsen. Tickets: $15

Hedda Gabler, written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, is a classic which first premiered in 1891 in Munich. The D&E production is set in the 1950s and examines themes of women's rights, love and betrayal. A talk-back with the directors and a counselor after each performance will allow the audience to discuss the themes of the play and ask questions. This play is not intended for young audiences. Please be aware that the play contains no nudity but does include adult content including simulated gunfire, substance abuse and suicide. Viewer discretion is advised. Co-directed by Assistant Professor of Theatre Bridget Rue Esterhuizen and Guest Director Jim Warren, founding artistic director of the American Shakespeare Center.
