Earth Day Film Screening

Everyone is invited to campus for an Earth Day Plant Sale on Sunday, April 22 from 12-4 p.m. in Eshleman Science Center. Plants will be available in the 4th floor lobby. Cash only. Hosted by the GreenWorks! student organization, proceeds will be used to fund community service projects in Elkins and the surrounding areas.

In addition to the plant sale, there will be a live reptile show by Jim Fregonara, a screening of the Emmy Award winning film "Green Fire" about conservationist Aldo Leopold at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. with discussion to follow (sponsored by D&E's outdoor recreation management program) and representatives will be on hand from the Elkins Tree Board, West Virginia Department of Natural Resources, US Forest Service and others. All events are free and open to the public.
