On Thursday, January 25, as part of the 2018 Biology & Environmental Science Forum, Dr. Shawn Stover and MacKinzie Smith will discuss the WV-INBRE Summer Research Program. Since the inception of the program in 2004, D&E has sent 18 students to West Virginia University and Marshall University to do summer research in the biomedical sciences. All of those students have gone on to graduate and professional schools. Dr. Stover will give an introduction to the program, and MacKinzie will talk about her experience as an intern last summer. The forum will take place in Eshleman Science Center room 413 at noon. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
