D&E proudly claims its heritage as a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)-related college, embracing the broad diversity of our student body, and providing the space and climate where spiritual needs and views of students of different faiths can be nurtured and shared in both discussion and service.

While our primary foundational church relationship is with the PC(USA), we are also purposefully building relationships with local congregations from other denominations in order to serve our students’ spiritual needs more fully. Specifically, we are:

D&E Selects Burnett for First Morrison-Novakovic Scholarship

Jenna Burnett, a 2016 graduate of Philip Barbour High School, has been selected as the first recipient of the Morrison-Novakovic Faith and Public Policy Scholarship.

 

Students Selected for Residency in Morrison-Novakovic Center

Eight students have been selected to embark on a groundbreaking journey as residents of the new Center for Faith and Public Policy.

 

D&E Hosts Symposium on Faith, Spirituality and Higher Education

The College hosted a special day-long symposium focusing on the relationship between religion and higher education in March 2016.

 

Presbyterian Scholars Program Established

Students who are members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) now have an additional incentive to attend Davis & Elkins College.
