What I Find Rewarding About D&E:
I have always enjoyed helping people further their education, and I find it rewarding to be able to continue to participate in providing library services so that students can find the information they need to excel in their courses and to become lifelong learners.
In her role of library assistant at Davis & Elkins College, Jackie processes United States government documents, performs serials and course reserves processing and assists the College community at Booth Library's information desk.

Jackie has many years of experience in the education system. Prior to her current position at D&E, Jackie served in other capacities in the library as a library assistant in technical services, reference librarian and assistant director. Before coming to D&E, Jackie was a ninth-grade teacher at South Zanesville High School in South Zanesville, Ohio. She has also served as a library assistant for circulation at Muskingum College, a library assistant in technical services at Ohio University and a graduate assistant in serials at University of Kentucky Libraries.
Jackie has attended multiple conferences and meetings hosted by the Appalachian College Association focusing on library public services. She has also attended West Virginia Library Association conferences.
