D&E finished second in the Black Division and earned a place in the G-MAC Conference Tournament after missing the postseason in 2014. Middle blocker Charisse Mitchell earned G-MAC All-Freshman honors under Carrington's guidance.

Prior to D&E, Carrington spent two years as the recreational program director at the YMCA in Ashland, Oregon. During the fall of 2014, she coached the Ashland High School volleyball team and then the Siskiyou Volleyball Club.
