Alumni Groups

There are many ways to stay connected with Davis & Elkins College. Participating in an alumni group is fun and friendly! Here's how you can get involved...

National Alumni Council

NAC is the voice/governing body of alumni. Everyone who has graduated from D&E, or even just attended, is a member of the alumni association. The NAC's mission is simple. This is how it is stated in their by-laws: "The purpose of this organization shall be to engage alumni of Davis & Elkins College for the purpose of developing an active program of alumni support for the mission of the College as established by the President and Board of Trustees." Alumni Chapters

Alumni Chapters are D&E alumni who live in the same area and want to get together to build off the D&E bond they have. Chapters have held several different kinds of events ranging from lunch cruises to sporting events to picnics. If there is not a chapter in your area, please contact Wendy Morgan in the Alumni Office at (304) 637-1341 or email to learn about starting one.

Carolinas Alumni Chapter

There are more than 350 D&E alumni and friends that live in North and South Carolina. The Carolinas Alumni Chapter held its inaugural event in July 2011. The intent of the Carolinas Chapter is to host annual or semi-annual social events that will create the opportunity for participants to meet and renew acquaintances, hear about what is going on at the College and have fun. Events will be held in different locations throughout both states; we hope you will be able to join us when we're in your area.

Friends of Senator Soccer

FOSS, a sports alumni group, represents those alumni who have played soccer at Davis & Elkins College. Every year members hold a gathering that includes a current players vs. alumni game and an awards banquet honoring a former player or coach and induction of the current seniors as members. FOSS also came together in support of the College's fundraising efforts for The McDonnell Center for Health, Physical Education and Athletics and the new AstroTurf Finish the Field and Light the Field campaigns.
