Davis & Elkins College is pleased to announce the opening of the Career Management Center. The center will act as a liaison between our highly diverse talent pool of students, alumni, employers and volunteers.
To ensure success of our students, they should begin working with the Career Management Center during the freshman year and continue at regular intervals throughout the next four years. A few ways the Career Management Center can assist are through:

Interest exploration to discover academic and career options

Research to clarify optional directions within a chosen career path

Development of career search strategies

Design and production of professional, powerful resumes

Creation of clearly written and effective cover letters

Walk-ins are welcome in the Career Management Center but appointments are suggested by calling 304-637-1313.
Counseling Appointment No-Show Policy
Any student who accumulates two (2) no-shows within a single quarter will have their appointment privileges suspended for the remainder of that same quarter. All other services will still be made available during the suspension, such as seminars, and online resources. A no-show will be declared when 15 minutes have elapsed past the original start time of the scheduled appointment and the student has yet to arrive. Any student who contacts Career Management prior to the scheduled start time to either cancel or change the appointment will not accumulate a "no-show".
