Patricia Schumann

As the Vice President for College Advancement, Pat is responsible for the college’s fundraising, alumni relations, and communications programs. She has been with Davis & Elkins College since 1997, serving previously as Director of Alumni Relations, Director of Development, and Director of College Advancement. Before coming to D&E, she served as Coordinator of Marketing and Public Relations for the University Eye Institute in Morgantown. Pat holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from the University of Dayton. She is active with the Elkins Rotary Club, Elkins Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, Elkins Branch, AAUW, and College Aid Society, and serves on the Session at Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Karen Wilmoth, '83

Karen L. Wilmoth, '83, is the Director of Advancement Operations and Stewardship. Karen holds an MBA from West Virginia Wesleyan College in addition to her bachelor's degree from Davis & Elkins College. She has worked at D&E since 2003 and, prior to that, was a legal assistant for 19 years. Karen has taught numerous business courses for Marshall University and Fairmont State College. As Director of Advancement Operations, Karen is responsible for the day-to-day workings and protocols of the Office of College Advancement. Additionally, it is her job to develop and oversee the College's Stewardship program for its donors including events to recognize and thank College donors and the yearly Honor Roll of Donors. Karen served one term on the Common Council for the City of Elkins and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Elkins since 1993.

Tina Vial

As Coordinator of Foundation & Church Relations and Support, Tina Vial’s focus is on two areas: grant writing and building relationships between Davis & Elkins College and church-related governing bodies, congregations and individuals. Tina’s earlier grant writing experience has yielded close to $4 million from private foundations and state and federal agencies. With almost 30 years of staff and volunteer leadership experience with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Tina is uniquely prepared for the dual nature of this role. She served the Church’s national staff in the Christian Education and Leadership Development office for 15 years, and has held numerous leadership roles at the presbytery level including Vice Moderator. She was recently co-chair of the Presbytery of WV Mission Study Group and is an ordained elder and a member of Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church in Elkins, where her husband serves as pastor.

As Coordinator of The D&E Fund Jeremy A. Golston, '04, is responsible for reaching out to alumni and friends, particularly in Virginia, Maryland, and the Washington, D.C. area. He enjoys meeting fellow alumni as well as others who also share a love of Davis & Elkins College. Jeremy oversees the young alumni program for graduates of the last decade, as well as the student philanthropy program, Senators Forever. Prior to joining the Advancement staff he owned and operated an outdoor specialty store in Canaan Valley, WV.
