Center for Entrepreneurship

What We Do

The Center for Entrepreneurship at Davis & Elkins College, housed in the Division of Business and Entrepreneurship, utilizes both academic and community outreach programs to address the challenges of entrepreneurship and to foster economic development in the region and the state of West Virginia.

Academic Programs

Offer courses through the Entrepreneurship concentration in the Management program to provide theory, practice, and mentorship to students who major in business and other disciplines on the D&E campus.

Outreach Programs

Provide training programs tailored to the needs of specific groups in the community as well as for non-profit organizations around the region. Individual programs include Women in Business, the Family Business Forum, and participation with community groups such as OnTrac, the Woodlands Community Loan Fund and the Tucker County Development Authority.
