Davis & Elkins College announces a new Community Education program featuring non-credit evening courses designed for members of the community. Courses include a wide range of activities, including music, dancing, computers and more. Winter/Spring 2014 courses will be announced in December!
Enrolling for a Community Education Course:
Click here to view a list of courses or click the link in the left-hand menu. Community Education courses are open to all members of the community age 18 or older unless otherwise noted. Individuals are added to a course roster when payment is received. Please Note: We do not send confirmation of enrollment unless an email address is provided or a hardcopy is requested. To register, call 304-637-1210, mail in a completed registration form, or complete the process online.
Students enrolled in a course that is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be notified 48 hours prior to the initial course meeting. We encourage early registration to reserve roster spots. If a class is full, you may add your name to a waiting list by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 304-637-1210.
Only students who have paid in full prior to the start of a community education course may attend the course.
D&E faculty, staff and students are eligible for a 20% discount provided there are sufficient roster spots available.
Easy Ways to Register:
- By Phone. Call us at 304-637-1210 and we will be happy to help you register over the phone using a credit card. If we don’t pick up, leave a message and we’ll return your call.
- By Mail. Send your completed registration form along with payment to Davis & Elkins College, Community Education, 100 Campus Drive, Box 928, Elkins, WV 26241.
- Online. Browse classes and register online.
Special Arranged Courses:
Some courses are available for special arrangement through paper registration only. If you would like to set up a special arranged course, please call 304-637-1210 or email email@example.com.
In the event that a course must be cancelled (e.g. due to insufficient enrollment), students enrolled in that course will be refunded the entire course fee. In the event that a student elects not to take a course for which he/she has registered, the College will refund 80% of the course fee through the day on which the course first meets. No refunds will be made after the conclusion of the first class session. All refunds must requested in writing.
